3 Roster Moves the Titans should MAKE before Training camp!

The Tennessee Titans wrapped up mandatory minicamp this week, meaning we are one step closer to Robert Saleh’s group taking the field for training camp.
Tennessee’s training camp roster looks to be mostly set in stone, but there are still some moves general manager Mike Borgonzi can make to bolster the team ahead of late July.
That said, let’s take a look at three roster moves the Titans should make before training camp!

3. Sign Jadeveon Clowney
I already know most of you are rolling your eyes over this, but just hear me out.
With Saleh taking over the defense, the Titans are going to be implementing a plethora of pass-rush rotations. Looking at the edge rusher room right now, Tennessee doesn’t really have a pure pass rusher who can rotate in and consistently generate pressure on the quarterback. Jermaine Johnson could be that, but we have to see how he looks two years removed from that torn Achilles.
Signing Jadeveon Clowney to a cheap deal to play in a rotational role would give the Titans an experienced veteran pass rusher who quietly had a productive season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2025, tallying 8.5 sacks and 40 quarterback pressures in 13 games.
Clowney’s first stint in Tennessee didn’t go well at all, but there’s legitimately no risk in signing him to a one-year deal again and adding a former No. 1 overall pick who has posted 23.5 sacks over the last three years to bolster the pass rush.

2. Re-sign Kevin Zeitler if possible
I don’t know what’s going on with this situation, but Paul Kuharsky reported earlier in the offseason that Kevin Zeitler plans to play in 2026, so why not bring him back?
As of right now, the Titans will have either Cordell Volson, Jackson Slater, or rookie Fernando Carmona as their starting right guard. Slater and Carmona are two intriguing young players, while Volson brings experience with 48 career starts.
However, there’s no denying Zeitler would be a much better starting option for Brian Daboll’s squad than any of the three listed above. In 16 starts last season, Zeitler allowed four sacks and 16 quarterback pressures with a 74.5 PFF grade. The 36-year-old is still an above-average starter on the interior, so the Titans should try to bring him back before camp kicks off to solidify the offensive line.

1. Extend Peter Skoronski
This is an absolute no-brainer for the Titans.
General manager Mike Borgonzi just gave Jeffery Simmons a big-money extension after a career year, and he should do the same with his ascending left guard.
Skoronski is one of the best guards in all of football and is coming off the best season of his career. The 2023 No. 11 overall pick allowed just two sacks and 23 quarterback pressures in 17 starts in 2025, including surrendering one sack and three quarterback pressures in the final six games.
Skoronski’s run-blocking has also significantly improved from when he entered the league, so he’s now a complete player and a franchise cornerstone for Tennessee.
Spotrac projects Skoronski’s extension will be worth nearly $60 million over three seasons, which would be a well-deserved deal for the 24-year-old.
